Historic homeowner Jerrod Brown remembers what Forney Hall was like when he attended Jacksonville State University in the 90s. 

“It was a dorm for married students,” Brown said. “I had friends who stayed there.”

Now, almost a century after its creation and 20 years after its closing, JSU issued a notice on May 29, stating they are accepting sealed bids for the sale of Forney Hall. According to the notice, the bid closes Tuesday, June 18 at 11 a.m.
